“The Hero’s Path” NDIS Mentoring Program

Designed for Young People Who Feel Lost, Disconnected, or Stuck.
Whether they're facing anxiety, psychosocial disability, autism, ADHD—or just struggling to find motivation—The Hero’s Path offers a bold new way forward. This isn’t your typical mentoring program. We blend storytelling psychology with real-life action, guiding youth and young adults through their own personal “Hero’s Journey.” Delivered 1:1 and in small groups, this journey builds emotional strength, confidence, and purpose. Through movement, conversation, and community connection, participants learn to navigate life’s challenges with courage—and write their own comeback story.

Your Young Person’s Hero Journey:

4 Core Phases

The Call to Adventure

We begin with curiosity and connection—matching each participant with a relatable, experienced mentor. Trust is the first bridge.

Crossing the Threshold

With safety and support, we begin setting goals and exploring resilience skills. This is where growth kicks in.

The Road of Trials

Now the real transformation begins. Participants are guided through new challenges: joining community groups, trying new activities, or volunteering—with their mentor right beside them.

Return with the Elixir

They come back with real wins: new skills, confidence, and a renewed sense of self. We reflect, celebrate, and lock in strategies for future success.

How We Mentor - Our Methods

Mentorship Through Movement : From gym sessions to beach walks to basketball - our mentors connect through shared action, not just talk.

Narrative Therapy in Real Life : Using story-based conversations, we help participants rewrite limiting beliefs and own their power.

The 5 B’s Weekly Themes : Each week focuses on one of the five B’s : Body, Breath, Background, Being and Belonging & Becoming. These themes guide life-skill building in a simple, relatable way.

What Makes Quest Different?

Let’s be real—there are a lot of NDIS providers out there. But here’s why people choose us:

We’re youth-led : Our mentoring programs are run by relatable, inspiring humans who’ve been there.

We go deep, not wide : No “care by the minute” here. Our focus is on relationships, outcomes, and impact.

We build real-life skills : From budgeting and cooking to job-readiness and social confidence—our work means something.

We believe in home, not housing : Our SIL homes are purpose-filled, community-driven spaces designed for growth and belonging.

If you’ve ever thought, “There has to be a better way to do support work,” — this is it.

Who We’re Looking For

This work isn’t for everyone—and that’s okay.

We’re calling in the crew who are here for more. The ones who light up when a participant makes a breakthrough. The ones who understand how powerful it is to just listen.

Here’s what makes a Quest support worker:

You’re reliable and real. You do what you say you’ll do—and you show up as your authentic self.

You’re great with young people. Whether you have lived experience or professional skills, you know how to connect and hold space.

You’re values-aligned. You care about inclusion, growth, and doing work that matters.

You’re growth-minded. You’re open to feedback, training, and becoming even better at what you do.

This is not “set and forget” work. It’s dynamic. It’s emotional. It’s impactful. And it requires heart.

Ready to Make a Real Difference?

If your heart’s pounding a little reading this—because it resonates—that’s no accident.

We’re not here to hire “staff.”

We’re here to build a movement of compassionate humans who want to do work that actually matters.

So… are you in?
